He is so passionate about what he does and has this humility that makes him a truly touching human being and Artist. Most of all is the respect and love that he carries to all the people around him... and that is an amazing gift!!
Tony's eternal curiosity and positive energy is so inspiring. He also happens to be extremely inventive with a strong background in many dance styles which he takes and organically re-examines into something new and wonderful. He also greatly respects the past and does his homework. If any young dancer wants to expand their horizons and opportunities, Tony Testa is the template to try and emulate. Tony Testa started dancing at 8 years old, studying tap, ballet, jazz, contemporary, breakdance, and hip-hop in his hometown of Fort Collins, CO. From an early age he assisted the classes that his mom would teach, and soon enough he had unveiled his true passion for choreography.
Now at 24, his work has brought him collaborations with JANET JACKSON, KYLIE MINOGUE, BRITNEY SPEARS, NICKI MINAJ, DEMI LOVATO, DISNEY'S WIZARDS OF WAVERLY PLACE, NICKELODEON'S iCARLY and VICTORIOUS, MACY'S "GLAMORAMA," and commercials for SKETCHERS, UBISOFT, and VERSACE.
Among his work as a choreographer, his career as a director has begun to take shape. His ideas and execution can be seen in both KYLIE'S APHRODITE "LES FOLIES" World Tour and "THE HURLY BURLY SHOW" in London's west end. He helped create for MICHAEL JACKSON'S THIS IS IT with Travis Payne and Kenny Ortega, then went on to do both DANCING WITH THE STARS, and a benefit show for "THE PAINTED TURTLE FOUNDATION" under Mr. Ortega's tutelage.
Most recently, he Co-Directed the opening of the 2011 AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDSfeaturing DAVID GUETTA & NICKI MINAJ, all while Choreographing a TV appearance for KYLIE MINOGUE in Shanghai, and DEMI LOVATO'S comeback tour of the U.S.
